Volunteer Vacations are a Meaningful Way to Re-EnergizeVolunteer vacations are short trips you can take to communities around the world where you can not only experience the richness of the culture but also volunteer your skills to help the community in need. In just 1, 2, 3, or 4 weeks, volunteer vacations will give you a renewed sense of energy. You can gain enriching experiences, memories, and friendships that last a lifetime. An amazing sense of camaraderie and 'family' often grows among volunteer team members. Live and work with local people on life-affirming service programs for short vacations or for extended stays. Voluntourism is about making a difference, while growing your worldview and interaction in the global community. You can impact a local community in significant ways while learning/practicing another language and enjoying the experience of visiting a new culture and environment. Examples include:
